Hampshire Business Computers
Hampshire Business Computers (HBC) has been designing and supplying IT systems and support services to businesses in the south of England for over 20 years. During that time the company has maintained a strong growth record in a very competitive market and today works with both SMEs and household names including Garmin, Martins of Basingstoke and Longleat.
For most of this period the company’s accountants have been Rothmans, which has provided directors Kieron Doyle and Derrick Ross with accountancy services and advice.
Like all good business associations, the Rothmans/HBC relationship has been built on trust, commitment and understanding. “Rothmans came on board not long after we had established the company,” explains Managing Director Kieron Doyle. “At first it was just to handle auditing and tax submissions, but as they got to know us they became an essential part of our management team. As well as working with the HBC directors on business decisions, such as acquisitions and strategic planning, Rothmans also handles the personal tax planning of the directors to maximise tax efficiencies.
